I’m a passionate wellness and health advocate, a behavioral and school technician, psychology graduate student, artist, local fitness entrepreneur, and bilingual Latina coach dedicated to helping others find joy, wellness, creativity, and movement in their daily lives. I’m also a certified Hoop Love Coach through the Deanne Love Hoop Love Training program. With over 12 years of hula hoop dance and fitness experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to my classes.

I find my work with caregivers, women and children working professionals, neurodivergent and BIPOC folks, first-gen students, and young professionals to be incredibly rewarding; I focus on helping everyone overcome burnout, incorporate joyful movement, improve motor skills, strengthen core muscles, manage stress, and have a more integrated work life.

As a master student in Behavioral Health Psychology at Carroll University, a new Behavior Technician and School Technician at TRIO Academy Inc., and a certified and practicing Level 1 Atrium Montessori Catechist, I am continuing to learn to be the best therapist, coach, teacher, and healer I can be.

“I’ve dealt with chronic health issues while dealing with everyday stressors, and I learned to work through them and become more resilient.
It took years of coaching, self-reflection, and building up my tool box of self-help techniques to stabilize. Hula-hooping, movement, fitness, spirituality, art, and taking a holistic approach to treatment helped me get to where I am today—I feel the healthiest and the most whole I ever felt, humbly acknowledging that continuous efforts are what sustain health in the long-term. As a first-gen professional and daughter of immigrants, I understand the struggles of balancing family, work, higher education, passion projects, and friendships. I’m hopeful that through my own experiences and continuing education, I can help others be the best version of themselves, too.” - Yanet
